Singapore, China plan reciprocal 30-day visa-free entry
2023-12-08Dec 7 - Singapore and China will put in place a 30-day mutual visa exemption agreement early next year, the Singapore foreign ministry said on Thursday, as the two countries agreed to further upgrade a trade pact between them."Both countries will work out the implementation details of the mutual 30-day visa exemption arrangement and implement it in early 2024," the Singapore foreign ministry aid in a statement.

China trials visa-free travel for six countries
2023-11-27China is trialling visa-free travel for citizens from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia for a year, its foreign ministry said.From December to 30 November 2024, ordinary passport holders from these countries can do business or travel in China without a visa for up to 15 days.This is to help "promote China's high-quality development and opening up", spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Friday.
